Aluminum die-casting is a kind of die-casting part. It uses a die-casting mechanical die-casting machine equipped with a casting mold to pour the heated liquid aluminum or aluminum alloy into the inlet of the die-casting machine, and then die-cast by the die-casting machine. The shape and size of aluminum parts or aluminum alloy parts, such parts are usually called aluminum die casting.

Die casting is to inject molten metal under high pressure and high speed to manufacture thin-walled parts with complex shapes. The obtained castings have fine grains, dense structure, high strength, and high productivity of die casting. Therefore, die castings are widely used in automobiles, computers, and Communication filters, medical equipment and other manufacturing industries, such as central control dashboards, motor boxes, steering systems, notebook computer shells, dual-cavity filters and other components.

In the past 20 years, the application of aluminum castings in the automotive industry in the world has been increasing. According to statistics, the total output of aluminum castings in the world has increased at a rate of more than 3% per year. Among the total output of aluminum castings, 60%-70% Aluminum castings are used in automobile manufacturing.

The benefits brought by the increase in the amount of automotive aluminum are mainly reflected in the following aspects:

(1) Promote lightweight vehicles, save energy and reduce consumption, and be environmentally friendly;

(2) Aluminum alloy parts can be recycled and reused to further save energy;

(3) Increase corrosion resistance and prolong service life;

(4) Help improve the balance and safety of car driving.
