Four types of heat stabilizers commonly used in plastic injection molding

(1) Lead salt heat stabilizer. The main varieties are tribasic lead sulfate, dibasic lead stearate, and dibasic lead phosphite. This kind of heat stabilizer has excellent thermal stability and lasting action, but it is more toxic, and its dispersibility and compatibility are poor.

(2) Metal soap types heat stabilizer. This is a class of higher fatty acid salts of calcium, magnesium, cadmium, lead, etc., especially the salts of stearic acid and lauric acid. They have excellent thermal stability and have a certain lubricating effect, but lead and cadmium soaps are toxic Larger, and less used.

(3) Organic tin heat stabilizer. This is an efficient heat stabilizer, the main varieties are diethyl tin dilaurate, dibutyltin maleate, dibutyltin maleate, etc. They have outstanding heat resistance and resistance to vulcanization pollution, but the price is higher.

(4) Composite heat stabilizer. Sometimes a single heat stabilizer is difficult to meet the requirements, and the synergistic effect of several heat stabilizers will greatly improve the effect. This is a composite heat stabilizer. It is generally a combination of two or three of liquid organic manganese, zinc, barium, and cadmium, and different proportions are determined according to different objects.
