The torsion spring is placed under the door body (closed): one end of the torsion spring is fixed, and the other end is wound to the number of turns required for installation, then the adjusting end of the automatic garage door torsion spring is pushed to the fixed end and tightened to adjust Screws on the flange. The number of turns of the torsion spring = door height ÷ wire wheel circumference + pre-tightening 0.5 to 1 turn.
Put the door on top (ie open state): fix one end of the torsion spring, stretch the torsion spring along the adjusting end by 60 ～ 120mm, pre-tighten 0.5 ～ 1 turn, and finally fix the torsion spring adjusting end on the shaft with screws. Why is the torsion spring stretched? Because the torsion spring's outer diameter will become smaller and the number of turns will increase during the door body lifting process, therefore, the lengthened spring will have a certain gap to facilitate the door body lifting.
