Double injection, injecting two raw materials into the cavity at the same time. The technology usually determines the distribution of the raw materials and the clamping point of the two raw materials according to the preset injection speed and the geometry of the cavity. When using this method, the injection molding machine is required to have very high accuracy and excellent repeatability every cycle. This technology is mostly used for some flexible injection molding applications, such as processing parts that are blocked due to poor raw material fluidity or processing functions that take the function of the component as a key consideration.

The processing principle of compound injection and compound injection is to use the same nozzle to inject two raw materials into the mold.

Usually, the outer material is injected first and the inner material is wrapped. According to the requirements of the product, the outer flow channel can adopt a closed structure design. Compound injection molding is mostly used for the processing of polyester preforms, shell products and automotive parts.
