Custom injection molded plastic parts can be used in a variety of industries. The injection molding industry has evolved from making brushes and buttons to producing a wide range of products for many industries including automotive, healthcare, aerospace, consumer products, toys, plumbing, packaging, and construction. We can customize to customer requirements, including materials. Injection molding is more often used to process thermoplastics and thermoset polymers, with the former being used in much higher volumes. Polyformaldehyde can be injection molded into parts that require low friction, high rigidity, and high dimensional stability. The original plastic materials are fused together under the molten heat of an injection molding machine and then injected into a mold, where they cool and solidify into the final part. The mold is then opened during the cooling process and the ejector bar of the injection molding machine pushes the ejector plate into the mold to release the mold. In plastic injection molding, hot liquid plastic is forced into the desired mold to form a piece of plastic that, once cured, takes on a permanent shape.
