1, Pre-plasticizing stage
The screw starts to rotate, then the plastic delivered from the hopper is delivered to the front of the screw, the plastic is plasticized evenly and gradually gathered in the front of the barrel under the action of high temperature and shear force, with the gathering of molten plastic, the pressure becomes bigger and bigger, then the screw back pressure is overcome to push the screw back gradually, when the plastic in the front of the barrel reaches the required injection volume, the screw stops backing and rotating and the pre-molding stage ends.
2, injection stage
The screw moves forward under the action of the injection cylinder and pushes the plastic stored in the front of the barrel forward with multi-stage speed and pressure, and injects it into the closed mold cavity through the runners and gates.
3, Holding pressure and shrinkage process
Under this pressure, the melt in the mold cavity is shrunk due to cooling and the product is compressed and densified. In this process, the holding pressure plays a leading role.
The characteristics of the holding pressure stage are: the melt flows slowly under high pressure, the screw has a small complementary shrinkage displacement, and the material gradually forms the product as it cools and the density increases. In the pressure-holding stage, the melt flow rate becomes very small and does not play a dominant role, but the pressure is the main factor affecting the process, in the pressure-holding stage, the pressure and specific volume in the mold is constantly changing.
4, cooling and shaping stage
Plastic in the mold cavity after holding pressure to prevent plastic backflow until the plastic curing, the pressure in the cavity disappears. The proportion of cooling and setting time in a production cycle is large.
